Rebel and Rebel Plus include features that are meant for commercial use and licenses for its usage need to be purchased. However, the basic version of Rebel, that covers all Java language constructs, is available for unlimited use for educational institutions.
Licenses are per-user, so you're welcome to use the one license on all computers and operating systems where you are the primary user. For businesses, the number of users must equal the number of licenses.
A Commercial license is the standard licensing option for organizations and business entities. Licenses are purchased by the company and can be used by any single person within this organization.
A Personal license is an option for private individuals who purchase a license with their own funds, and solely for their own use. Personal licenses are not to be purchased, refunded or in any way financed by companies.
If you would like to purchase Rebel Plus for use in a computer lab, it is not necessary to have the number of licenses equal to the number of students. You may purchase the lesser of either: 1) the number of computers that will have Rebel Plus installed or 2) the number of students who will be using Rebel Plus.
Group buying is not supported. The bulk license keys are only for use within a single company.
Employees should not use a business license at home, unless on a work computer or for work purposes. License keys are owned by the business, and may not be shared with other companies or individuals.
Refunds are available within 30 days of purchasing. Please send us an email if you wish to claim a refund.
